Injection mould inqury
We are company from Croatia (Europe) that produces thermoforming and injection moulding flower pots.
We are looking for a manufacturer of injection mould for flower pot. I attach the drawing of a future flower pot that we are plan to produce. Pot is planned to be made of PP material. Max weight of pot should be 130g. Four holes on the bottom of the moulds (marked with the cross) are upper from the bottom of the flower pot. The rest wholes are on the bottom of the flower pot. The mould must have feature that holes on the bottom (8 holes) can be disabled (so we can make pot just with upper holes, and with all holes).
Please give us your quotation and possible dimensions and weight of the mould. Also please send me technical specification of the mould like expected liftime (number of cycles), specification of the steel etc.
As we produce flower pot from recycled material the runner should have hole diameter as much large is possible. If you can do with hot runner, the we will go with hot runner. If you think that it will be problem with hot runner on recycled material then we will go with cold runner.
The lifetime of the mould shoud be 2 000 000 cycles (we produce 300 000 pieces per year). And the total cycle time on the 320 ton machine shoud not be exceeded 25 seconds.
The machine ring (for mounding mould) is 200 mm diameter. The machine accepts mould height from 330mm to 670mm. I also attach mould mouunting diagram for our machine.
The mould should have 1 (one) cavity
