Die Casting, Sand Casting or Metal Injection Moulding
I am designing a new product which needs a die cast, sand cast or metal injection moulding part:
Outer dimensions: 360mm x 200mm x 200mm
Mass ~5kg (steel) or 2.5kg (aluminium or zinc alloy)
I would like approximate costs for tool and part costs.
Volume is 2500 parts/year
An old, sheet metal part design is in the attached .zip file. This is close to what we want to produce with die casting or MIM. We will design the part to be mouldable and include all necessary drafts and radii.
